After nearly 12+ years of designing & building brands that include Manduka, Splits59, Athleta, & 2XU (www.shilparajpara.com), Shilpa identified a significant gap in the market.
No brands were serving the 60 million+ women (in USA alone) who are sizes 0-18 (XS-XL) with a cup size of D Cup & Up. As a designer and consumer in the activewear segment; she felt underserved from non-supportive, ill-fitting, and off-trend choices for her active lifestyle.
After her own struggle with wearing double bras, nip slips, side boob, under boob, non-supportive tops, non-adjustable garments, or just finding garments with enough coverage -- Shilpa decided to solve this problem.
Speaking to countless women, ranging from 13-55, she found they all shared a similar story and struggle. Her goal is to target this niche customer by creating beautifully designed & technically crafted products that support, flatter, and fit busty women. Her passion for design and experience in premium athleisure, make her uniquely qualified to address the issue, with the launch of NAYALI.
